Vehicles & Travel Planning

It depends on your plans: campervans are compact and great for couples, semi-integrated motorhomes offer more comfort, alcove models are perfect for families, fully integrated ones are pure luxury. If you plan to stay in one place longer, a caravan might be best.
Kids love alcove motorhomes. The bed above the driver’s cabin feels like a small adventure room.
Within the EU usually yes, sometimes beyond, except for restricted regions. Always confirm with the provider which countries are allowed.
Often yes, sometimes no – it depends on the provider. Check the offer details to see if pets are welcome.
In the EU, a class B licence covers up to 3.5 tonnes. Bigger vehicles require C1 or BE/B96 for trailers. If you’re from the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, you usually need an international licence in addition to your national one. In those countries, the same applies: foreigners must carry an international licence. Always check local rules or ask clubs like the AAA or ADAC.
