Rental Request vs. Instant Booking
Rental Request
Not all landlords show real-time availability. Smaller landlords prefer to check availability before each booking.

- After confirmation: 48 hours to book
- Booking is made via your Campcruisers account
Instant Booking
Vehicles with the Instant Booking symbol have real-time availability updated via interface.
- Direct booking without waiting
- Vehicle is reserved within seconds
- With your booking, you make a binding offer to conclude a rental agreement
- The rental agreement is concluded with the booking confirmation
- You will receive the rental agreement from the landlord – either by email after booking or at the latest upon vehicle handover
Deposit
Campcruisers does not accept deposits. These are paid directly to the landlord.

Insurance
All landlords ensure proper insurance of their vehicles in accordance with national regulations.

Cancellation Terms
Each landlord sets their own cancellation terms. Details can be found on the detail page of each offer.
Motorhomes & Caravans
Cancellation usually follows a tiered fee structure. The later you cancel, the higher the fee. Early cancellation often costs only 10–30% of the booking price. Some providers charge a minimum fixed fee (e.g. €300).
Houseboats & Boats
A tiered cancellation fee structure also applies here. However, cancellation fees are often higher than for motorhomes and caravans. 50% of the booking price as a cancellation fee is not uncommon.
Campsites & Pitches
Campsites and motorhome pitches set their cancellation policies individually. Most sites allow cancellation upon payment of a cancellation fee. The fee amount varies from provider to provider.
Legal Notice: When booking tourist services, there is no statutory right of withdrawal as with online shopping according to German Civil Code (§ 312g Para. 2 No. 9 BGB).
However, this does not mean that cancellation is generally excluded. Each landlord and campsite operator can allow cancellations in their terms and conditions, subject to payment of a cancellation fee.
